She was renamed Rahmat Banu Begum after marrying the Mughal emperor Azamtara or Mohammad Azam Shah in 1668. The Treaty of Ghilajharighat was a peace treaty signed between the Ahoms and Mughals after conflict. The first term of the treaty required the Ahoms to send a six-year-old girl to the Mughal harem, which some say was humiliating. King Jayadhwaj Singha couldn't bear this and died later that year.
